Math in Python

In the course of my studies, I’ve been moving into computer science, data science, algorithms, and all that stuff. But first I need to get the math fundamentals knocked out. I’m taking this course on Udemy by that same name, and it’s pretty good.

It covers things like finding the factors of a number (like what all divisible by a given number if it’s not prime), finding the prime factors of a number (what all prime numbers you’d have to multiply together to get a non-prime number), finding the lowest common multiple, and all that stuff.

As I’m going through it, I’m writing functions in Python to solve some of the various problems. It’s been a challenge but I figure it will be helpful later on when I start getting into algorithms. I don’t know if it’s even possible, but I’m hoping I can continue writing Python functions to handle more advanced topics like Algebra, Geometry, Linear Algebra, Finite Math, Trigonometry, and Calculus.
